Effies 2011 (Bronze)
Godrej Security Solutions won the Effies 2011 (Bronze) for the ‘musibat kabhi bata kar nahi aati’ campaign, in the ‘consumer durables & others’ space. The EFFIES are the OSCARS of the advertising and marketing communications world. For this award, the recognition comes not only from the advertising industry, but also from the client and academicians. The awards received over 300 entries this year across award categories. Finally, there were only 3 entries shortlisted within the category that we have won.

Godrej Security Solutions has received a score of 8.38 out of 10 making it the brand leader in the category of Security Solutions, placing us amongst the top 25% out of 400 brands short listed by ICMR comprising all categories.
The award is the reflection of consumers trust & association with the brand & speaks high on the trust & reliability that people correlate with the brand.
The first phase of the survey was conducted across India in 20 cities wherein the survey was initiated by generating a list of most visible and impactful brands across 40 different categories and over 100 sub-categories. The sample was randomly selected for the survey and the survey was conducted in specific zones with equal distribution in North, South, East and West of India. The consumer brands were short listed after direct research with consumers in respective target market, distributors and retailers. The Business brands were surveyed with the industry. Thereafter, a list of 400 brands was generated by conducting a survey in the 4 metros and tier2 cities e.g. (Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkotta, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Pune, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Nagpur, Nasik, Indore, Bhopal, Noida, Gurgaon, Lucknow, Bhubaneswar, Surat, Patna) of India amongst a sample of 18,000 respondents on the parameters of brand recall, perception, product innovation and impact. The respondent profiling for these brands was primarily from the SEC A1, A2, B1, B2 and C. The respondents were a good mix of both male and females. However, the ratio varied depending upon the specific categories. Also, the occupation and household income of the respondents was taken under consideration again based on the category covered. The survey was conducted using a structured questionnaire amongst a randomly selected sample (In certain cases judgmental & snowball sampling techniques was used based on the category).
The Godrej Security Solutions Brand has received a score of 6.77 out of 10 placing it amongst the top 20% of all brands across all segments and all categories. The score has been arrived at by tabulating 19,011 consumer responses through a pan India Consumer Survey done on high density portals by ensuring preferential brand-ratings and the scrutiny of some very distinguished council members.

Continuing the legacy for the second time in a row Godrej Secure has been conferred as the Best Brand in Security Systems by 360 degrees, a Times of India Group subsidiary, in the Smart Living Awards

Smart Living Awards is an independent index that recognizes how strongly Indian house owners feel connected about India's most preferred brands in residential real estate and other house related products/ services.
The awards were given on the basis of a pan India Consumer Survey on the brand-rating survey done by an independent market research agency - AC Nielsen ORG-MARG through face-to-face interviews covering over 7,600 respondents across 17 cities in the country and further validated by PricewaterhouseCoopers.
